Weekend Recipe: Salsa

I promised you last week I would bless you with a great salsa recipe to go with your tacos.  We started making this a few years ago when Becky found this Chili’s knock-off recipe.  If you’re had Chili’s salsa, you know it is served fairly smooth and chilled, which we like.  This is a good fit for those who don’t like chunky.  You can also bump up the jalapenos if you want a little more spice.


1 can diced tomatoes (not crushed or flavored)

½ cup diced onion

¼ tsp. ground cumin

½ tsp. garlic salt

Juice of 1 lime

2 slices of jarred jalapenos

1 bunch cilantro

Directions:  Put in a bowl and use a hand blender or food processor until smooth.
