Weekend Recipe: Vegetable Salad

Don’t forget about Miss Mommy’s Earrings Give-Away! You have until Sunday night!!  Make us proud.

With Memorial Day and summer bbq’s coming up, here is a great side dish.  It is fresh and an instant hit.  In fact, many people tell us that even though they don’t like all the individual ingredients, they love them together in this salad!

Vegetable Salad

2 large bunches of fresh broccoli

1 large head of cauliflower

1 bunch of green onions

1 large can of early green peas

10 to 12 oz. of sliced green olives

Wash fresh vegetables and cut broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.

Chop green onions.

Drain olives and green peas.

Combine all with enough mayonnaise to hold together.

Refrigerate until time to serve.

*Makes 8 to 10 servings.
