Highland Cows & Inverness

Highland Cow

Have you ever seen a Highland Cow (pronounced coo)?  They’re actually pretty big and hairy.  We saw these 2 on our drive from Plockton to Inverness.

Inverness

We only spent a night in Inverness.  We had 2 adjoining rooms and had a fairly uneventful night.  The breakfast the next morning was delicious: fried and poached eggs, toast, sausage, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and coffee.

Inverness “Castle”- now it’s some sort of civil building.

Inverness Castle

Luke loves all bodies of water.

Emily also posted on Inverness, so if you want more pis, check it out.  I’m planning on posting on Urquhart Castle next time.  Stay tuned!
