Weekend Recipe: Delicious Pot Roast

Ever remember eating a delicious pot roast for Sunday lunch when you were growing up?  If you’re like me, you love it, but don’t have a great recipe for it.  It’s hard to justify spending money on the meat if you don’t have a great way to make it.  Well, here you go- we recently ate this delicious pot roast and loved it!

Pot Roast

  • 1/2 pkgt Au Jus Gravy Mix (Safeway Brand)
  • 1/2 pkg Brown Gravy Mix (McCormick)
  • 1/2 pkg Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing
  • 1/2 pkg Zesty Italian Dressing (Good Seasons)
  • 1 Onion, sliced in wedges
  • sliced mushrooms if desired
  • 2T pepperocini peppers

Cook for 6-7 hrs. at 250-300 degrees Farenheit.  Great with mashed potatoes and green beans.
