Weekend Recipe: Delicious Brisket

Can you tell we are in a fall/winter mood?  Last week was pot roast and this week is brisket, both delicious hot meals.

Crockpot Brisket

  • brisket of your choice
  • 5 or 6 cloves of garlic, smashed or minced
  • liquid smoke
  • salt and pepper
  • a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • buns

Place a brisket of your choice in a crockpot.  Add 5 to 6 clove of garlic, smashed or minced, some liquid smoke, salt and pepper, and that’s it until  the last 1/2 hr.  For the final half hour, take the brisket out to cool a little and shred.  Put it and some of your favorite BBQ sauce back in and then serve with extra Bar- B-Q to taste and some realy good buns.

Great served with fresh corn, baked beans, and a green salad.
