Haddo House {Aberdeen, Scotland}

Emily, the kids, and I got to go to Haddo House– Emily had heard it was like being in a Jane Austen novel.  It really was – the grounds were well-manicured, Scottish grass is always green {all the rain!}, there were fields and patches of daffodils and even several pheasant grazing {wish Bill could have seen them!}.  We ate at a small tea room that had good soup and sandwiches.  We ran out of time to see the play area and duck pond- so we planned another trip back for a whole morning there and a picnic.

This was our second, colder trip out there to feed the ducks.
